Privacy notice.

How we use business contact details when we tell businesses about our Mini Discount Cards and other services, and when you contact us. Last updated 27 October 2026.

Who we are

Brightsky Media Limited ("Bright Sky Media", "we") is the controller of your details. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 06772209. Registered office: Unit 3, Vale Business Park, Llandow, CF71 7PF.

Your right to object

You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time, free of charge. Reply "no thanks" or "stop" to any of our emails, or email info@brightsky.media. We stop straight away and keep only the minimum needed to make sure we don't contact you again.

What we hold

Your name, job title, work email address and work phone number.
Your organisation's name, address, website, type of business and size.
Short notes about your organisation taken from public sources, such as its website, Companies House and recent news.
The emails we send you, your replies, and whether you opened a concept card page we made for you.
Anything you send us through this website's forms, including artwork files.

Where it comes from

From you, when you contact us or fill in a form on this website.
From our group company Info Display OOH Ltd, where you or your organisation were previously in contact with them.
From public sources: Companies House, your organisation's own website, and open data published by OpenStreetMap, Overture Maps, the Food Standards Agency and the Charity Commission.

Why we use it

To tell businesses about our services that may interest them. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: promoting our services to organisations that may use them.
To answer enquiries and prepare quotes. Lawful basis: steps you ask us to take before a contract, or legitimate interests.
To keep a record of people who asked us not to contact them. Lawful basis: legitimate interests and legal obligations.

We only send marketing emails without prior consent to limited companies, LLPs and public bodies, as UK law allows. We don't send them to sole traders or partnerships unless they have agreed.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to read public information about organisations, to help write our emails and to create concept card designs. People at Bright Sky Media set the rules, review the work and answer your replies. We don't make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects by automated means.

Concept card pages

When we make a concept Mini Discount Card for your organisation, we send you a unique link to it. Our server records when that page is opened so we know whether you saw it. These pages and our emails use no cookies, tracking pixels or analytics.

Who we share it with

We never sell your details. We use these service providers, who act on our instructions:

Zoho (customer records), IONOS (email), Contabo (our server, in the UK), Vercel (this website) and Google (website forms and file storage).
OpenAI (AI research, writing and card designs) and MillionVerifier (checking that email addresses work).

We also share details with our group company Info Display OOH Ltd where that's needed to run our business.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations, including the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep prospect details while we are in contact and for up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a customer. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your email address and the date, so we never contact you again.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, to restrict how we use them, to object to our use of them, or to receive a copy. Email info@brightsky.media. We'll reply within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've used your details, email info@brightsky.media with "Privacy complaint" in the subject. We'll acknowledge it within 30 days and tell you what we've done about it. You can also complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commission (ICO), at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
